Cold Storage Construction has consulted on various levels and built with food and game processors, universities, quick serve restaurants and convenience stores. The company began focusing on local meat and game processors in the mid 70’s offering design-build services, local butchering and retail meat market facilities across Texas, the largest being Eddy Packing which is a 200,000 SF facility.
The company provided design-build services to Texas Tech for the Meat Science Lab and currently has a consulting role with A&M Meat Science and Texas Tech Meat Science for projects in Central and South America. In 2005 we provided, construction consulting services to Walmart, overseeing construction at their first Japanese DC which was 150,000 SF.
In 2016, the company provided consulting and construction services to a 12,000 SF convenience store. We also completed the insulated metal panel scope for a 170,000 SF addition to an HEB distribution center in Houston.
